Shortening the market to six days from the traditional seven, and taking place Thursday through Saturday instead of Monday through Sunday are just some of the changes coming for the 2009 High Point Market.

The changes are meant to encourage an active and dense market, creating a better business and marketing environment for all parties involved according to a statement from a representative of the High Point Market Authority in June 12, 2008's The Business Journal in the Triad area.
