NC's future growth will reply upon the growth and improvement of the 3T's - Technology, Transportation & Tourism. The 3T's are interdependent and issues within each affect all 7 economic development regions designated by the NC Department of Commerce. The question is "What is the chief issue (challenge) within each 3T category?" (e.g. "The number one issue facing tourism in eastern NC is the depletion of natural resources due to agribusiness excess" ; "The greatest issue facing transportation is reducing traffic congestion of the Triad, Triangle & Charlotte Metro" ; "The most pressing issue in technology is further developing public internet networks within rural communities.")
